Best Golf Stand Bag

best lightweight golf bags: Callaway Hyperlite Zero Stand Bag

Callaway golf bags topped our best lightweight golf bag review with the Hyperlite Zero, which delivered outstanding comfort, practicality, and storage space. I found it carried a durable construction, a stable stand, and high-quality zippers.

The presence of seven pockets was the stand-out feature of this bag, offering ample compartments to store my belongings. I managed to fit my rain jacket, balls, tees, and valuables, which is all I need for a round of golf.

The entry-level 4-way top structure on the Callaway Hyperlite Zero provided sufficient space to separate long, mid, and short clubs. Given the minimal top division, my clubs entangled occasionally, and the grips created friction, causing them to stick together. However, it was smooth sailing for the most part.

I enjoyed the comfort and support provided by the Anatomic straps. They adapted to the contours of my shoulders, leading to a balanced, cushioned carry. My comfort and protection received a further boost from the precisely located hip pad to prevent bruises while carrying.

Callaway engineers crafted the Hyperlite Zero in 11 styles to cater to an array of color palettes, so you’ll have many color choices. Plus, with a name like Callaway, it’s known for having many of the PGA TOUR Champions golfers using their golf equipment, such as Stuart Appleby, David Duval, and Retief Goosen.

PROS

  • Features seven pockets
  • Comfortable, supportive Anatomic straps
  • Crafted in 11 colors
  • 4 way top for basic club division
  • Comfortable hip pad

CONS

  • The 4-way dividers caused my clubs to entangle
  • Limited storage space for refreshments

Luxury Golf Bag

PXG Golf Stand Bag

Discerning golfers who demand only the best are better suited to the luxuries in the PXG Golf Stand Bag. It features a clean black and white finish, ample storage space, and a versatile design to fit securely on a cart or comfortably on your shoulders.

PXG fitted eight pockets to the stand bag, which I found handy to carry everything I needed on the links. Among the compartments was an efficient insulated cooler pocket, a microfiber-lined valuables pocket, and a full-length apparel pocket.

Storage space aside, I relished the comfort and balance of the 4-point carry straps. They provided substantial cushioning around my shoulders, and the design promoted hassle-free adjustability to achieve the desired fit.

PXG fitted the standard 4-way top structure, like the Callaway Hyperlite Zero, allowing me to distribute my long, middle, and short clubs between the slots. Like all 4-way top bags, my grips caught on each other whenever I added too many clubs to one slot.

The PXG Golf stand bag also carries a cart strap passthrough, which helped me secure the bag to a push cart. You can also rest it on the base of a golf cart, but I did not have one on hand during testing.

Best Ladies Lightweight Golf Bag

Izzo Ultra Lite Golf Bag

Lightweight Stand Golf Bag

Izzo Ultra Lite Golf Bag, lightest golf bag

Ladies navigating the fairways require a stylish, lightweight, and easy-to-carry golf bag where your valuables are protected come rain or shine. Enter the Izzo Ultra Lite, our top lightweight pick for ladies. Although the Ultra Lite features minimal pocket space, it makes up for it with its feathery mass of 3.2 lbs.

The bag is a breeze to carry and does not weigh your shoulders down after lugging it for 18 holes. Weight aside, its padded double strap design was soft on the shoulders and ideal for ladies who prefer walking the golf course.

Izzo Golf put a twist on the standard 4-way top compartments, reducing the size of the middle slots to accommodate more in the forward and aft. I did experience challenges removing clubs from the middle compartments as its narrow design limited the number of clubs I could fit.

I appreciate the durability of the 4200 polyester fabric, which maintains its original color for longer than its peers. Finally, the Izzo Golf Ultra Lite is equipped with four pockets, including a waterproof valuables compartment. It also comes in various colors, such as black, red, blue, and grey.

PROS

  • One of the lightest golf bags at 3.2 lbs
  • Affordable
  • Comfortable double straps
  • Durable fabric
  • Waterproof valuables pocket

CONS

  • Reduced storage space
  • I found it challenging to extract clubs from the middle compartments

Sunday Golf Bag

Titleist Carry Bag

Golfers requiring a backup bag to carry a couple of clubs to the range, par 3, or pitch and putt course require a Sunday or carry bag. The Titleist Carry Bag is your best lightweight bet for its cushioned carry straps and pocket space to transport the bare necessities. Plus, it’s our lightest weight golf bag at 2.10 pounds (‎0.95 Kilograms)!

Titleist equipped the carry bag with a 2-way top cuff which is perfect for holding a select quantity of golf clubs. However, when you overload it, you will have a tough time removing clubs.

Despite its lightweight construction and compact stature, Titleist fit a full-length apparel pocket and an externally lined drinks sleeve. The apparel pocket was long enough to fit my jersey and my valuables, while the drinks sleeve was only deep enough to store a water bottle.

Besides limited top and pocket space, the Titleist Carry bag lacks carbon fiber legs to remain upright while practicing. This forced me to lay it on the ground, causing the bag to rapidly accumulate dust and mud.

PROS

  • Ultra lightweight
  • Comfortable carry straps
  • Full length apparel pocket
  • Beverage sleeve
  • Durable material

CONS

  • Limited storage space
  • Does not stand upright; no stand mechanism
  • Expensive for a carry bag

Best Lightweight Golf Bag with Stand

Cobra Ultralight Pro Golf Bag

Best Stand Bag

Cobra Ultralight Pro Golf Bag

If you are like me and enjoy walking the fairways, a comfortable, lightweight stand bag is essential. The Cobra Ultralight Pro ticked all the boxes thanks to its padded shoulder straps, ample storage space, and the stability of its legs.

While Cobra Golf is largely known for their clubs, I was immediately impressed by the storage space on the Ultralight Pro despite its lightweight, stand-bag qualities. Cobra fitted 7 compartments to the bag, with more than enough space to hold what I need for a round. It even offered a separate area to fit my rangefinder to prevent scratching the pricey unit.

True to the nature of lightweight bags, the Cobra Ultralight Stand Bag sports a 4-way top structure with full–length dividers. However, my grips still caught on each other when I overloaded one slot. I quickly learned to evenly distribute my clubs with 4 in the broader slots and 3 in the narrower middle hole.

I welcomed the airy feel of the bag while carrying it owing to its dual padded shoulder straps and found the legs super stable while resting. Lastly, I appreciated the choice of 7 colors, ranging from traditional options to bold, eye-catching hues.

PROS

  • Contains seven pockets
  • Durable stand
  • 4 way top
  • Available in 7 colors
  • Dual comfortable straps and grab handle

CONS

  • There is no beverage pocket, only a sleeve
  • My grips caught on one another in the same compartment, making them challenging to extract.

Best Value Lightweight Golf Bag

Wilson Staff Exo Lite Golf Bag

Best Budget Golf Bag

Wilson Staff Exo Lite Golf Bag

Walking golfers require the support of stable, adjustable, and padded straps. The Wilson Staff Exo Lite provided an advanced solution with its four-point shoulder straps, which allowed me to alter the fit to my preference.

In my experience, it did well to keep my water bottle chilled for 9 holes, which suited me perfectly. I always top up at the halfway house, ensuring I have sufficient fuel for the back 9. In addition, the Staff Exo Lite carried the standard full-length apparel compartment, large ball pocket, and a valuables hold with a waterproof zipper.

Sticking with the norm, Wilson employed the classic 4-way top, which saw me place woods at the back and long and mid irons in the middle. Finally, I put my short irons, wedges, and putter in the front slot. Wilson also engineered the Staff Exo Lite bag in 6 colors, with some bold red, orange, and white colors.

PROS

  • Comfortable, adjustable straps and grab handle
  • Efficient water bottle cooler pocket
  • Available in 6 colors
  • Magnetic closure rangefinder pocket
  • Durable stand

  • Expensive golf stand bag

Largest Capacity Lightweight Golf Bag

Datrek DG Lite II Golf Bag

$199.99

Updated on 2024-04-27

Large Capacity Bag

Datrek DG Lite II Golf Bag

If you are super organized and prepared for every condition during a round, maximum storage space is essential. The Datrek DG Lite II is our largest capacity lightweight bag thanks to seven pockets and a well-structured 15-way top with a dedicated, rubberized putter well that provides extra protection to my flat stick.

Datrek set up seven pockets on the DG Lite II, which I found were spacious and offered ample depth compared to the compartments on our best stand bag, the Cobra Ultralight Pro. My favorite feature was undoubtedly the oversized insulated cooler pocket.

Datrek built the DG Lite II with Top-Lok Technology, helping the bag fix to Bag Boy push carts without needing a cart strap passthrough. While this design is brilliant, I did not find the bag overly secured to the base of other trolleys or golf carts.

Bad news apart, I was surprised to encounter a 15-way top golf bag in the lightweight division. Every club received a private slot, and I rarely endured the struggle of removing my clubs, as I do with 4-way top designs. Finally, the dedicated putter well was also efficient, storing a jumbo putter grip without hassle.

PROS

  • Seven spacious pockets
  • 15-way top with a dedicated putter well
  • Keeps beverages cold
  • Fits jumbo grip putters
  • Fleece lined valuables pocket
  • Affordable for a golf cart bag

CONS

  • Difficult to fasten it to non Bag Boy push carts
  • Not built for carrying around the links

Best Looking Lightweight Golf Bag

Sun Mountain Eco Lite Stand Bag

Most Stylish

Sun Mountain Eco Lite Stand Bag

Fashionable golfers who prefer colorful golf bag designs are not always catered for by golf bag manufacturers. However, the Sun Mountain Eco Lite Stand Bag changes the narrative and offers 5 stylish designs to select from. Besides its looks, it impressed me with its simple top structure, contoured dual straps, and robust legs.

As I expected, the lighter nature of the Sun Mountain Eco Lite Stand bag leaves restricted room for storage space. However, the 5 pockets offered sufficient room to store my standard golf gear, no more, no less. Thanks to the minimalist pocket design, the bag remained light and easy to haul around the links.

My shoulders welcomed the Dual Strap System and their accompanying padded straps, which were soft on the shoulders. Admittedly, there are superior options from a strap perspective, like the Callaway Hyperlite Zero.

Lastly, while I managed to get all 14 clubs into the bag, it was easier to add and remove clubs when I was not operating with the full complement. Otherwise, my grips generated friction and got glued to each other.

PROS

  • Available in 5 color designs
  • Includes velour lined valuables pocket
  • Contoured carry straps and grab handle
  • Solid built in stand system
  • Material is recycled from 25 bottles

CONS

  • Fewer pockets than other carry bags
  • I battled to slide clubs out when I packed all 14 in.

Most Compact Lightweight Bag

Tangkula Stand Bag

$59.99

Updated on 2024-04-27

Lightest Stand Bag

Tangkula Stand Bag, lightest golf bag

If you are happy carrying the bare minimum on the links, you can leverage the comfort delivered by a compact lightweight golf bag. The Tangkula Stand Bag caught my attention with its 3.5 lbs mass, padded straps, water resistance, and rock bottom price tag.

Starting from the top, I found the four club dividers incapable of holding more than 7 clubs, at most. Anything after that became an arduous battle. Ultimately, the Tangkula is not conducive to full rounds of golf requiring all 14 clubs. Instead, it is best saved for the driving range, a quick fire 9 holes, or a trip to the pitch and putt course.

Four seems to be the lucky number for this stand bag, as it contains the same quantity of pockets as top slots. Avoid carrying more than a couple of balls, tees, and valuables.

Finally, I appreciated the inclusion of a durable stand, which is often left off Sunday bags. This ensured stability and saved me from lying the bag on the ground when I practiced, reducing the risk of back injuries and dirtying my case.

PROS

  • Ultra lightweight; easy-to-carry golf bag
  • Four pockets hold basic equipment
  • Built in stand system
  • Wear resistant fabric
  • Entry-level price tag

CONS

  • It does not hold 14 clubs
  • Minimal storage space

Best Budget Lightweight Golf Bag

Prosimmon DRK Golf Bag

Best Budget Golf Bag

Prosimmon DRK Golf Bag

One frustration I have endured innumerable times is golf clubs falling out of the bag as I walk the links. I found Prosimmon solved this challenge with their DRK golf bag and its 4-point dual shoulder strap, which distributed the bag’s mass optimally, keeping my clubs in place and my shoulders comfortable.

Like other best lightweight golf bags, the DRK offers minimal storage space, offering a total of 5 compartments. You can store balls, tees, and rain jackets, but anything else would be testing the limits of its capacity.

Besides pocket space, I enjoyed the velcro glove patch to let my mitten air between shots and after the round. It gives the glove time to breathe before you throw it into one of the 5 zipper compartments.

Prosimmon stuck with the customary 4-way top on the bag, and its design left me the space to structure my clubs in a 4-3-3-4 setup from back to front. However, some clubs in the same compartment continued to clash against each other, and the grips stuck together, making it an arduous task to extract my clubs.

Given my experience with removing clubs, I would advise against using it to carry 14 golf clubs. Therefore, it is a suitable option for trips to the range or for golfers who only use a handful of clubs. Lastly, the DRK is offered in 11 colors and patterns, with the camouflage ranking as my favorite.

PROS

  • Creates sound balance to prevent clubs from falling out
  • Super affordable, great for beginner golfers
  • Padded dual straps
  • Crafted in 11 colors
  • 5 pockets

CONS

  • I struggled to operate with 14 clubs
  • It could offer more pockets

Best Lightweight Golf Bag For Wet Weather

Cobra Golf Ultradry Pro Golf Bag

$259.00 Amazon Prime

Updated on 2024-04-27

Best Waterproof Bag

Cobra Golf Ultradry Pro Golf Bag

Readers prone to getting stuck in a rainstorm are best off with a quick dry design equipped with waterproof zippers to shield your valuables. I find the Cobra Ultradry Pro Golf Bag ticks all these boxes and offers ample storage space for your regular equipment and durable material for extended longevity.

I found the Ultradry was not entirely waterproof or water-resistant. However, the material did dry quickly, and my valuables were protected. The waterproof zipper pockets did most of the heavy lifting to keep moisture out and my phone, wallet, and watch sheltered.

Cobra bucked the trend of 4-way tops, adding an extra slot and full-length dividers for greater separation and structure. I divided the first 4 slots between my woods, long, middle, and short irons. Then, I closed the bag with my wedges and putter in the final slot.

I thought the five pockets on the Ultradry offered greater depth than most of their peers on the list. I could fit my rain gear comfortably, a rangefinder, and my balls and tees. However, it is still limited, and readers seeking maximum storage space are better off with the Datrek DG Lite II.

Structure aside, I was impressed with the protection and delicate feel of the Swivel Strap. It relieved some stress from my shoulders, promoting a soft feel and smooth carry.

PROS

  • Waterproof zippers
  • Exceptional stable when legs are extended
  • Features a 5-way top
  • Comfy, adjustable strap
  • Durable construction

CONS

  • Limited alternative colors
  • It could offer better storage space

Best Water Bottle Cooler Pocket Lightweight Bag

Callaway Chev Stand Bag

$189.99

Updated on 2024-04-27

Best Cooler Golf Bag

Callaway Chev Stand Bag

If you have the luxury of living in a warmer climate like South Florida, a reliable, insulated water bottle cooling pocket is a must. I find the Callaway Chev did the best to keep my beverages cold on a hot day, owing to the exceptional insulation of the compartment.

Hydration aside, Callaway applied 5 additional pockets to the Chev, ensuring abundant space to store my gear, valuables, and rangefinder. I also welcomed apparel pocket, which saw me fit a rain jacket and a jersey.

Sticking to the classics, the engineers applied a 4-way top structure, which is unideal for a full selection of clubs. I feel it is best suited to a quick-fire round, a trip to the range, or a knock around on a pitch and putt course.

Next, I was impressed by the selection of designs, with a total of 13 on offer. However, they are mainly variations of the same traditional colors we are accustomed to. Finally, the ripstop fabric appeared durable and should deliver longer wear than many of its competitors.

PROS

  • Insulated water bottle pocket
  • Durable, ripstop fabric
  • Six pockets
  • Cushioned straps
  • Produced in 13 color variations

CONS

  • It is not ideal for carrying 14 clubs
  • The stand was slightly suspect on uneven ground

Most Versatile Lightweight Golf Bag

Most Versatile

Ping Hoofer Lite Stand Bag

The Ping Hoofer Lite Stand Bag does push the boundaries of a lightweight bag, but I let it slide for its versatility. When I considered its ability to perform efficiently on a golf cart and provide a comfortable carry, it was a clear winner in the multi-purpose section.

I liked the practicality of the re-engineered back puck design on the stand bag because I could switch it from a double to a single setup in an instant. Adjustability aside, the cushioning on the straps sufficiently ensured a comfortable stroll around the golf course.

With seven pockets, I could carry everything I needed and still have space left over. This surpasses most of its lightweight peers, who feature 5 or 6 compartments. I also welcomed easy access to the valuables pocket while the bag was secured to a cart.

Speaking of carts, the Hoofer Lite is equipped with a cart strap pass-through channel to keep the bag fastened to the vehicle. Next, Ping kept it simple at the top, fitting a durable 4-way divider system, allowing me to actually fit all my clubs in.

Despite carrying all 14 golf clubs, I needed to keep them equally distributed at all times. Otherwise, one overloaded slot made it challenging to extract the clubs.

PROS

  • Multi-purpose design
  • Adjustable cushioned shoulder straps
  • Fits 14 clubs
  • Insulated water bottle pocket
  • Cart strap pass keeps it secured to a vehicle

CONS

  • Priced at a premium
  • You must equally distribute clubs to avoid getting them stuck in one compartment.

TaylorMade Cart Lite Bag

$279.99

Updated on 2024-04-27

Most Comfortable

TaylorMade Cart Lite Bag

A comfy, supportive, and stable stand bag is necessary for golfers like me who walk more than we drive. The TaylorMade Flextech Lite Stand Bag was a pleasure to rest on my shoulders as I navigated the fairways, making it the most comfortable lightweight stand bag.

My comfort was bolstered by its lightweight stature,  cushioned straps, and comfortable hip pad combination. The hip pad softened the impact of my bag on my skin while I walked, saving me from the countless bruises I have endured without padding.

In addition, I felt the straps adapted to the contours of my shoulders and provided outstanding support. Besides comfort, I appreciated the quality and durability of the Leg Lock Technology, which helped activate the stand, the moment my base touched the ground.

TaylorMade opted for the classic 4-way top structure with a twist. The crush-resistant design held firm when the bag sat at the bottom of my trunk under boxes and other equipment.

Finally, I appreciated the abundance of pocket space on the Flextech, which enabled me to fit my valuables, gear, and refreshments.

PROS

  • Self-adjusting strap system enhances comfort
  • Weighs less than 4 lbs
  • Padded straps
  • Leg Lock Technology helps deploy the stand faster
  • Ample pocket space

CONS

  • The 4-way divider causes clubs to get caught on each other

Best Value Golf Bag

Nike Sport Lite Golf Bag

The Nike Sport Lite Golf Bag is not the cheapest on the list but offers the best value for money. It sports a durable construction, well-thought-out top dividers, plenty of storage, and exceptionally cushioned straps for a pleasant walk. In addition, the design is simple, clean, and effective.

Unlike most lightweight golf bags, Nike opted for a refined 5-way top divider, which left enough space to fit my 14 clubs. Moving on to storage, the Lite bag contained pockets for my standard equipment and accessories, along with an insulated pocket that kept my drinks bottle fresh in the heat.

I thought the anatomically correct straps were a brilliant addition to the stand bag, and relished the comfort offered while carrying. I experienced no discomfort after lugging my bag for 18 holes on a warm day. In addition, the inclusion of the Nike Equaflex dual strap stabilized the bag to combat toppling off and ejecting my clubs.

Although I tested the bag in idyllic conditions, I threw some water onto the fleece-lined valuables pocket to measure its water resistance. It passed with flying colors, shedding the moisture and keeping my phone and wallet dry.

PROS

  • 5-way divider provides superior organization
  • Water-resistant valuables pocket
  • Insulated cooler pocket
  • Cushioned, adjustable straps
  • Clean look

CONS

  • Limited alternative colors
  • No cart strap pass for added security on golf carts

Best Lightweight Bag With Full Length Dividers

Mizuno K1-L0 Lightweight Stand Bag

$187.77

Updated on 2024-04-27

Full Length Dividers

Mizuno K1-L0 Lightweight Stand Bag, one of the best golf bags for men

Full length dividers keep the shafts and grips of your golf clubs separated and run from the top slots down to the base of the bag. Without full length dividers, your golf grips create friction and stick to each other and you struggle to extract clubs from the golf bag.

Mizuno Golf makes an excellent option with the K1-L0 Lightweight Stand Bag. It comes with a 5-way top and full length dividers.

The 5-way top on the K1-LO follows the standard lightweight golf bag structure, which I preferred over the regular 4-divider system. Plus, the full length dividers on the Mizuno golf bag did a better job keeping clubs apart.

I was also impressed with the Mizuno golf bag storage space. The five pockets provided sufficient room to hold my basic golf equipment and apparel but nothing more.

I welcomed the outstanding protection, support, and comfort offered by the high-density foam shoulder straps. They were spongy on my shoulders and made the bag a breeze to carry for 18 holes. Finally, I also enjoyed the convenience, consistency, and durability of the lightweight composite legs that kept the bag upright on all terrain.

PROS

  • Full length dividers to separate grips and shafts
  • 5 way top
  • 5 pockets provide better club organization
  • Comfortable, cushioned shoulder straps
  • Robust composite legs keep the bag upright

CONS

  • Expensive for a stand golf bag
  • It could have provided more storage space

Buyers Guide: Finding Your Best Lightweight Golf Bag

lightweight golf bag on a push pull cart

Shopping for the perfect golf bag can be as daunting as mastering the sport itself, especially when you consider the variety of options available on the market. Here are several areas to consider before purchasing your new lightweight golf bag.

Various Types of Lightweight Golf Bags

Lightweight golf bags are split into 3 categories, which impacts their total mass, storage space, and top structure. The lightest golf bag is a Carry bag or Sunday bag, like the Titleist Carry Bag. These lightest stand bags have a 2 to 4-way top, offer minimal storage space, and suit trips to the driving range and pitch and putt golf courses.

Sitting in the middle are lightweight stand bags, equipped with a 4 or 5-way top, and can generally fit a full complement of clubs, like the Cobra Ultralight Pro. Stand bags suit walking golfers who prefer to carry clubs.

The final lightweight golf stand bag design is golf cart bags, which are the heavier of the lightweight family. Cart bags, like the Datrek DG Lite II, feature increased storage space and are fitted with anywhere from a 6 to 14-way top setup.

Who Should Use a Lightweight Golf Bag?

Golfers not carrying 14 clubs or those seeking a second bag for trips to the driving range should use a lightweight golf bag. They contain limited space in the top dividers to carry all clubs, and they sport fewer pockets, restricting what you can carry on the golf course.

Average Weight

The average weight of a lightweight stand bag is in the vicinity of 4 lbs. These are typically stand bags equipped with dual padded straps and designed for golfers who like carrying clubs. However, in the case of the Callaway Hyperlite Zero, it tips the scales at less than 3 lbs.

Conversely, lite golf cart bags may weigh as much as 5 lbs, but anything over that point is no longer a lightweight golf bag.

Club Dividers

In my experience, lightweight golf bags are typically equipped with 4-way dividers, which allow you to separate woods, long and mid irons, concluded by your short irons, wedges, and putter. However, I typically find 4-way top bags annoying because if you overload a slot, you struggle to get slide clubs out.

The solution is to keep your clubs evenly distributed across the slots at all times. Alternatively, I recommend you carry fewer than 14 clubs.

Although 4 dividers are common, you may find a 2 way top on a Sunday bag or a 14-way top on a lite cart bag. But, these are less common in the lightweight space.

Pockets and Storage

Lightweight golf bags feature fewer pockets to store your equipment, apparel, and refreshments. Most lightweight bags carry five pockets, but the Callaway Hyperlite Zero Stand Bag and Datrek DG Lite II are both equipped with seven pockets.

If storage space is a deal breaker, I suggest turning to lightweight golf cart bags as they are more likely to hold more cargo.

Reasons to Buy

Lightweight golf bags are a smart idea for golfers who prefer walking the golf course and require a feathery, comfortable design. These bags are light on the shoulders and back, lowering the risk of discomfort and injury.

Reasons to Avoid

The biggest reason to avoid lightweight golf bags is their lack of storage space and 4-way top dividers. They are only built to hold the bare necessities like golf balls, tees, apparel, and maybe a drinks bottle.

Finally, the 4-way top structures on many lightweight golf bags are not geared towards holding 14 clubs. If you fit all your clubs in, they catch on one another and it is a nightmare to extract them. Therefore, they are often best for trips to the driving range or for golfers who do not play with all 14 clubs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Makes the Lightest Weight Golf Bag?

Callaway Golf makes the best lightweight golf bag, the Hyperlite Zero Stand Bag, which weighs under 3 lbs.

What Is the Best Lightweight Carry Golf Bag?

The Titleist Carry Bag is the best lightweight carry golf bag for the comfort of its straps, durability, 4 pockets, and classy look.

What’s a Small Golf Bag Called?

A small golf bag is referred to as a Sunday bag or Carry bag. These bags are fitted with fewer slots at the top to hold a limited quantity of golf clubs and work for trips to the driving range.

Final Thoughts

After reviewing the best lightweight golf bags, I noticed they feature minimal storage space and are often fitted with a 4-way top. While you can fit 14 clubs into these bags, it often proves a mission to slide them in or out. As a result, I find them best suited to the driving range, pitch, and putt courses or players operating without 14 golf clubs.

Although each of our 16 lightweight bags holds merit in a specific category, one delivered a superior overall performance. The Callaway Hyperlite Zero Stand Bag is our overall best lightweight golf bag owing to the cushioning of the straps, the clean look, and its exceptionally low mass.
