Meet Konstantine “Kosta” Frengopoulos, a dedicated member and moderator of our Seniors Who Golf group. Originally from Greece, Kosta moved to Canada at age 10. He turns 67 this Christmas and has always noted how his birthday gifts often merge with holiday gifts.
Educated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, Kosta spent over 25 years traveling across North America as a management consultant.
His introduction to golf came at 28, when a neighbor invited him to play, sparking a lifelong passion.

Kosta Frengopoulos’ Golf Story
During our conversation, Kosta opened up about overcoming golf setbacks.
He offered a valuable tip from his own struggles: when his short game took a hit, he didn’t let it discourage him.
Kosta committed to practicing with his short irons at the driving range for an hour each day, a disciplined approach that effectively restored his confidence.
Despite having witnessed 24 aces, Kosta is still chasing his first hole-in-one. He’s come incredibly close, hitting the flag 12 times! He remains motivated that his ace is just around the corner.
Kosta’s contributions as a moderator to the Seniors Who Golf group are invaluable. His support and friendly guidance help new members feel at home, enriching our community.
We appreciate Kosta Frengopoulos taking the time to share this story with the Senior Golf Source community.
