Paul Stankowski WITB 2025 was at the top of our list after his impressive opening round at the Chubb Classic. Stankowski wasted no time, carding four birdies in his first six holes. He finished his round 7-under (65) on the Tiburón Golf Club’s Black Course.

After a long off-season revamping his swing fundamentals and focusing on fitness, Stankowski returned to competition ready for action. Despite feeling “rusty”, his putter came alive when it mattered most.

So, what’s in the bag for Paul Stankowski in 2025? We got the inside story from his son, Joshua, who caddies for him. Let’s take a look.

A new addition this year to Paul Stankowski’s bag is the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond driver. Paul shared at the Chubb Classic a few details on this decision:

“(I) ditched the 22 year old graphite shafts I’ve been playing forever and put a new driver in the bag. So it’s like everything is different. New starting lines, new clubs, same old me, just a year older.”

Since this was a practice round, we were able to catch a glimpse of his prior driver (still in his bag), the Callaway Epic Speed Triple Diamond (8.5 degree).

You’ll also notice he also uses lead tape on the clubhead.

Paul Stankowski is feeling better than he has in years, thanks to a dedicated team helping him regain stability and strength. After working with longtime chiropractor Troy Van Biezen and a new training regimen, he’s seeing real results. “My body feels better than it has in 12 to 15 years,” Stankowski said.

Also working with coach Mike Wilson, Paul has transitioned to a more neutral path and returned to standard lie angles, giving him a more consistent and predictable ball flight. With renewed zest and a more consitent swing, he’s making golf feel simple again—and his clubs are playing a key role in that process.
