Erin O. Blakely, MSW, LNHA, Founder

Erin’s approach to Senior Golf Source is straightforward: it’s not just about golf; it’s about helping golfers over 50 stay fit, healthy, and happy for years to come. This commitment comes from her hands-on experience as a golfer, since her father placed a club in her hands at the age of 3. Erin had a unique childhood, her father was a senior when she was born. He flew P-51 Mustangs in World War II, and retired in the late 1980s. Her formative years were shaped by the wisdom provided from growing up amongst an older extended family and countless hours on the golf course.

Having spent 17+ years in senior healthcare, working in nursing homes and assisted living communities, Erin has seen up close the importance of staying active and mentally engaged as we age. Her background isn’t typical for someone running a golf website — with a Master’s in Social Work and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, she brings a lot more to the table.

For Erin, it’s personal. Her goal is to help seniors have more independence, and avoid needing long-term care. And while it’s ideal to lower your handicap; more importantly it’s about staying active, healthy, and enjoying good times with friends on the course.

With her team, Erin focuses on what matters most to senior golfers. Whether it’s through exercise, nutrition, or even the game’s mental aspects, she’s in it to ensure golf remains a positive part of your life.
